MR. TEMPTATION

My pile of books caused frustration.

My 9 to 5 took dedication.

Sometimes I need a vacation.

That’s when I met Mr. Temptation.

And he showed me his way

to get through the day.

Mr. Bubblin' Brown makes me go to town

when I’m not supposed to be around.

No pile of books, no frustration.

No 9 to 5, no dedication.

But now I’m in this situation, 

while I could have been at my graduation.

flakey white, 

sippin' wine.

I bet my girl would get second thoughts

if she could see through my mind.

Cuz li’l Ms. Haze that I praise makes me go for days.

When I’m down she brings me up in all the different ways: 

makes me run around, brings me all over town, 

but when the time is up she knocks me right back down.

The hotel bathroom just a few blocks away.

In the mirror we can see the sun rise up like the day.

Now hold up, my card is empty but there’s nothing to pay,  

forgot you had me round your pinky
